About Our Club
Holcombe & Blue Bell Hill CC are a friendly, local amateur community cricket club based in Blue Bell Hill village on the edge of the Medway Towns in Kent. Formed in 2011 from the merger of Holcombe C.C. and Blue Bell Hill C.C., cricket has been played at our idyllic Common Road ground since 1936.
We pride ourselves on being an inclusive club, running an array of cricket programmes throughout the British summer for both juniors and seniors alike. Our Saturday 1st XI play in Div 7 Hurricane of the Kent Cricket League, having recently gained promotion after winning Div 8 Knott in 2023, and our Saturday 2nd XI play in Div 9 Knott. We also run 2 Sunday sides – one being a development XI to bring through the next generation of young cricketers. HBBHCC also has an active and established junior section, running cricket programmes for youngsters aged from 3 to 17. Our “Belly Tot” programme for 3 to 7 year olds has been running for over 10 years – many of our current junior members have found their love of cricket through this programme.
But we’re not all about cricket! We have a vibrant social scene and run a varied social calendar throughout the year, with events such as: Quiz Nights, Darts Nights, Fun Days, Race Nights, BBQs, Village Fetes, and even special events such as the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and HM The King’s Coronation parties. There really is something for everyone.
Whether you’re looking for competitive senior cricket, a safe and welcoming environment for your child to enjoy cricket, or simply a place enjoy a cold drink on a warm summer’s day, Holcombe and Blue Bell Hill C.C could be the place for you!
So, why not drop us a message, or pop along to the clubhouse and say hello. We look forward to seeing you soon.
New Year, new you? Why not try cricket in 2024?
