The first game, which is at home, is on the 19th April with a friendly against Gravesend followed by 2 games the weekend after. You can find all the fixtures here.

With these games just around the corner it’s time to get across a few key points to ensure our club is ready on all levels.

Let’s start with an important fact that the members make the club and in order for us to remain in a good position we need to ensure we collect the Annual Subscriptions and that Members Details are up to date.

Annual Subscriptions

• To ensure the club can continue to provide this level of cricket and social engagement we need to ensure we manage the financial side responsibly.
• Our annual membership fee for Adults is £80 and our match fees are £10 for one game a weekend and £15 for two games a weekend. We have concessions for those in Education or currently out of work.
• For the first time this year, the club is offering a monthly installment option of £20 per month for 4 months starting in April 2025. You can of course pay in full either by card payment or direct to the bank or via the card machines at the club.

Members Details

• To ensure we have the correct information about you we now have an online membership form which we would like you to complete which will also take you through to payment options.
• As a club we have a responsibility to ensure any data we collect and store is done so to the best of our ability and that we have clearly laid out the reasons why we are holding personal information about your membership. We have refreshed all of our club policies which you can find here.

Strategic Development Plans

• We are pleased to share with you the Clubs Development Plan laying out our future goals for both the club and local community and how improvements could benefit all over the next 3 years.

We hope you will agree that all of the points above are important developments to best support the club, local community and you as our players and members. Please always feel able to talk to any of the committee members on thoughts, ideas, concerns or comments about other developments that could be considered.

As you know we have some great sponsors already involved in the club namely Kingfisher Drinks as our main club sponsor, BlueBells Catering and Tea Room supporting the juniors and some around the ground board sponsors such as Tom Dix - but there are still plenty of opportunities. ‘Get Ready Weekends’ - thank you to those who were able to support last weekend in helping to make the club ‘ready’ for the season. It is not all about the square and outfield and your support with all the other jobs is fundamentally important - anyone who can support this weekend (12/13 April) would be gratefully received.

Outside Training

• Juniors - Training will commence at the ground on:
  • Wednesday 23rd April
  • 17.30 - 18.30 - Belly Tots (3-7 years old)
  • 18.30 - 20:00 - Under 11’s and Under 13’s
  • Monday 28th April
  • 18.30 - 20.00 - Under 15’s and Under 17’s
  • Seniors - Thursday nights at the ground - keep an eye on the WhatsApp group.

New players of all ages are always welcome across all ages - just get in touch…
