League Cricket Returns This Weekend!

The countdown is over - the Kent League season finally gets underway this weekend and there’s a real buzz around Common Road as we head into another summer of cricket at the Hill.
After a busy winter of nets, junior training and pre-season fixtures, it’s been fantastic to see so many familiar faces back at the club, alongside plenty of new members joining the HBBHCC family. The effort from players, coaches, volunteers and supporters over the off-season has once again been great.
Pre-Season Update
Our senior sides have already had some valuable cricket under their belts during the pre-season programme, with encouraging performances across the club. The 1st XI kicked things off with a strong victory over The Covenant CC in April, chasing down 219 with three wickets to spare - a great early sign as preparations continued ahead of league action.
Across the junior section, training numbers have been excellent and it’s brilliant to see so many young players developing through our programme once again. With junior fixtures already beginning, there’s plenty to look forward to over the coming months.
Thank You To Our Sponsors
As always, we want to place on record our sincere thanks to the businesses that continue to support the club.
A huge thank you to our long-standing main club supporters Kingfisher Drinks, whose backing continues to play an important role in helping the club grow both on and off the field.

We are also delighted to welcome Denmaur as a new sponsor for the 2026 season. Denmaur will proudly support our junior section this year, with our new junior kit carrying their branding throughout the season. Partnerships like these make a massive difference to a community cricket club like ours, and we encourage all members and supporters to support the businesses that support HBBHCC.

Additionally thanks to our board sponsors namely: Tom Dix and Complete Carpet Cleaning Southeast
Memberships & Subscriptions
A reminder to all players and parents that online membership forms must be completed as soon as possible if you haven’t already done so.
We also ask members to ensure subscription payments are made promptly. Membership fees are vital in helping us cover the ever-increasing costs of running the club, maintaining facilities and investing in equipment and coaching for all age groups.
If you still need to complete your registration or payment, please visit the club website or contact a member of the committee.
Get Involved This Season
There’s plenty happening around the club this summer beyond the cricket itself. Whether you’re playing, scoring, umpiring, helping behind the bar or simply enjoying a drink in the sunshine after the game, HBBHCC thrives because of the fantastic community around it.

Please continue to support the club throughout the season:
- Come down and watch the teams
- Support club events and socials
- Volunteer where you can
- Share our news and results online
- Bring friends and family to the club
We’re looking forward to another memorable summer at Common Road and can’t wait to see everyone back at the Hill this weekend.
Up the Hill! 🏏
